busy seasons?

people say there are busy seasons in ministry…. whether that is a certain time of the year, a phase, a time of change, etc.

i hear it all the time…. “we’re coming up on a busy season of ministry”

i am more convinced today that there is no such thing as a busy season. there is just ministry. and when you’re in ministry, you are busy.

there is no lack of new initiatives, new research to do, new projects to work on, conferences and events coming up, and oh yeah, Sunday comes every week.

AND, i’m not sure i’d have it any other way…..
